Fr. Michael Perucho
Fr. Mike Perucho has been a priest for 8 years for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles having served as associate pastor for Holy Family, Glendale, pastor of Our Lady of Peace, North Hills and now Associate Director of Vocations. Born and raised in San Jose, California, he is an avid fan of the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Giants, and San Francisco 49ers. He is a good friend and fraternity brother of Alex Zapanta (Beta class – the best class) having studied at LMU receiving both a BS in Biochemistry and a Masters in Education. Eventually, he studied at St. John’s Seminary, receiving a Masters of Divinity and an MA in Theology and was ordained in 2011. He first met Loan at one of Alex’s annual Labor Day birthday bashes and has enjoyed meeting with this couple, preparing them for the sacrament of marriage. From their shared meals at sushi downtown, to breakfast at the local golf course café, he looks forward to celebrating the heavenly banquet here on earth with their nuptial Mass.
